But despite his upcoming appearance as the brave star-spanning Hal Jordan, Reynolds is equally well known for his brief but memorable turn as mutant mercenary Wade Wilson in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Little more than a cameo, Reynolds’ work as Wade is set to expand in a planned “Deadpool” spin-off film from 20th Century Fox. Given the two roles — polar opposite though they may be — one could make the assumption that Reynolds is getting a little bit greedy when it comes to the superhero genre.
