Bitter perez post: Perez Hilton to Show His Softer Side? - October 14, 2010 by jamesdean

Share it: In this video on his site, Perez Hilton says he doesn’t want to be a bully anymore.  (PerezHilton.com) Photo Essay Perez Hilton’s Birthday Bash Stars come out to celebrate the gossip blogger’s 31st birthday.   The internet may have just gotten a little safer for celebrities anyway. That’s because Perez Hilton, the giant of online gossip, has decided he’s going to be nice. Perez Hilton has an infamous reputation for criticizing, outing and even engaging in altercations with celebrities. In a recent video, Hilton says, “I am very happy, scared, and ready to make this video… But the recent surge of teen suicides due to harassment and bullying has served as a wake-up call for the blogger. I don’t want to be a bully. “I’m going to do things differently on my website than I have in the past. “In doing so, a lot of people have called me a hypocrite and a bully myself, and a big one. All of this time I‘ve been wondering about the scientific anomaly that is Perez Hilton, and how he has managed to survive for so long without a heart.

So what’s brought this on? I’m not going to call people nasty nicknames. I’m not going to go the mean route. Does he actually have a heart, but just needed to find it? He regularly calls Jennifer Aniston “Maniston,” Sienna Miller “Sluttienna.” He controversially “outed” gay performers like Lance Bass and Neil Patrick Harris. I’m going to force myself to be funnier or smarter…not out people. But Hilton says it’s time to make a change. To be quite honest, without our coping mechanisms, we’d fall to pieces and every single article we publish would be a snot-nosed, tear-fuelled cry for help. DeGeneres said, “A lot of people don’t believe you. So, what’s the reason behind his sudden transformation? So I want to listen to what you have to say.” Hilton responded, “I’m going to do things differently on my website than I have in the past. His targets include young stars like Lindsay Lohan (dubbed “Lindsanity”), Vanessa Hudgens and Demi Moore’s daughter Rumer Willis, whom he called a “Potato Head.” He has also made fun of the looks of former “Friends” star Aniston, calling her “Chinnifer Maniston”.

Hilton told Reuters after his “Ellen” show announcement that he was not going to “lobotomize” himself, and accepted that his change of heart would be met with skepticism. The blogger acknowledged: “Over the last two weeks I have been doing everything I can to bring awareness to the teen suicides and gay bullying. I’m not going to go the mean route.” So why the sudden change of heart? In doing so, a lot of people have called me a hypocrite and a bully myself and a big one … From now on I really want to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.” Visit our friends at PopEater.com for more awesome content! In fact, it was one of the saddest stories to hit the press in recent memory. That’s right, we’re attacking you, dear reader. We’re going to have to see.” Perez says he doesn’t care if he loses some of his audience. It’s more important to be part of the solution not the problem.

Japan refuses Paris Hilton’s appeal to enter the country - September 22, 2010 by jamesdean

photo

Paris Hilton was refused entry to Japan on Wednesday because of a drug conviction, immigration officials said. She had arrived in Japan on Tuesday and had been allowed to spend the night, to see whether immigration officials would reconsider their initial refusal to allow her entry. Paris Hilton arrives at the courthouse in Las Vegas, where she pleaded guilty on Monday to two misdemeanours, drug possession and obstructing an officer. “Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans,” the spokesman said. “Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans. She was scheduled to appear at a news conference in Tokyo on Wednesday to promote her fashion and fragrance lines, but that appearance was cancelled. She intended on fulfilling her contract and is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control,” the statement said, adding Hilton was “very disappointed.” On Monday in Las Vegas, Hilton pleaded guilty to cocaine possession following a recent arrest in which she was found to have 0.8 grams of the drug in a purse. We are continuing the immigration process to determine whether she can enter Japan or not,” said Kazuo Kashihara, an immigration official at Narita. The Asia trip had been planned before Hilton’s arrest last month in Las Vegas, when an officer found a small amount of cocaine in her purse. She pleaded guilty Monday to drug possession and obstructing an officer and was placed on informal probation for one year. If Hilton is arrested for anything other than a minor traffic violation, it would be considered a violation of her probation.  Paris has also been ordered to complete an outpatient substance abuse program. Stephen Sondheim , generally acknowledged to be the greatest living songwriter in the musical theatre, will make a rare Toronto appearance on Dec. 6 at the Princess of Wales Theatre at 8 p.m. Hilton will also be on probation for one year.

Hilton admitted in court Tuesday that a small amount of cocaine found in her pocketbook was hers. CNN’s Junko Ogura and Marc Balinsky contributed to this report.

“Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans. Japanese officials stopped Paris Hilton from entering their country Tuesday, a day after the celebrity socialite pleaded guilty to a drug charge in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to her spokesman. “Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans,” the spokesman said. She was sentenced to a year on probation, a $2,000 fine and 200 hours of community service. The LA socialite will reportedly remain at the low-rent hotel until immigration officials decide whether to allow her into the country – or she decides to leave of her own accord. Actually, only a couple questions were about drugs.

Under Japanese law, immigration authorities are empowered to deny entry to those convicted of drug-related offenses. CNN’s Marc Balinsky contributed to this report. And if they’re just simply annoying. Which isn’t cool because she’s. working and probably totally needs the money. “Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans,” the statement said, apparently serious. Us Weekly reported Tuesday that Moss’s ties to Scientology didn’t help. She was given a one-year suspended sentence, fined $2000 and ordered to complete community service. The 29 year-old former star of reality TV show “The Simple Life” is a member of the family that founded the Hilton hotel chain, and she has parlayed her notoriety into a successful career endorsing products in fashion, fragrances and other industries.

Hilton’s purse also contained a bag with .8 grams of cocaine. “Ms. Hilton understands the seriousness of the situation and appreciates the chance she is being given,” the socialite’s lawyer David Chesnoff told The Associated Press over the weekend. When he asked what she did to obstruct justice, Hilton, swaying side to side, responded, “I said that the purse wasn’t mine to the officer,” and acknowledged that she had bought it months earlier. “She has to stay out of trouble.” Ms Hilton could have been jailed for up to four years on the cocaine possession charge, but she agreed a plea deal with prosecutors. Bonaventure told the hotel heiress. She was charged with obstruction because she initially told police the purse and cocaine were not hers. “The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf-Astoria.” Clark County prosecutor David Schubert echoed that sentiment, saying “Our main concern is that Ms. Hilton stay out of trouble over the next year.” Hilton’s attorney, David Chesnoff, said the celebrity would attend an outpatient substance abuse treatment program, and that she would continue to volunteer with animal rights groups and children’s hospitals to meet the requirements of the plea agreement, he said. “I know Ms. Hilton is contrite and accepts the responsibility for her actions,” Chesnoff said. According to Chesnoff, “She does a lot of stuff with animal rights, and I understand she’s done work with children’s hospitals, so I think she’ll continue something along those lines.” “Defendant shall stay out of trouble. “I know Ms. Hilton is contrite and accepts the responsibility for her actions,” Chesnoff said. “She was treated like anybody else would be treated under the circumstances.” Ms Hilton spent 23 days in jail in Los Angeles in 2007 for violating probation on an alcohol-related reckless driving charge. Puzzling paris headline: Paris Hilton Pleads Guilty In Las Vegas Cocaine Case - September 20, 2010 by jamesdean

pic

According to TMZ , Hilton pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer in a deal that will save her from serving a one-year term in jail. In return, she has to pay $2,000 in fines, complete 200 hours of community service and complete what is being described as an “intensive” substance abuse program. Paris Hilton arriving in Las Vegas court Sept. 20. The socialite pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer, two charges that stemmed from her Aug. 28 arrest in Las Vegas. Hilton admitted to the judge that cocaine found in a purse she was carrying after a traffic stop last month was hers and that she lied about it. Hilton will also be on probation for one year. Hilton will be placed on probation for one year, and faces jail time if she’s arrested one more time within the year. The celebrity heiress pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer. Just as the District Attorney had confirmed over the weekend , under the terms of the plea, Hilton, 29, was placed on probation for a year. ‘There will be no discussion.

Hilton — wearing a champagne-colored blouse, a black pencil skirt and black platform heels — told Judge Joseph Bonventure she was in possession of cocaine. The male driver of the car was arrested on DUI drug charges. Hilton’s purse also contained a bag with .8 grams of cocaine.

The judge also ordered Hilton to complete an intensive substance abuse program. Hilton’s downfall came when she reached into her Chanel handbag for some lip gloss, and a bag containing 0.8 grams of cocaine fell out. Bonventure told Hilton she would have to stay out of trouble. Arriving in the courtroom shortly before the judge, and wearing a white blouse and black pencil skirt, Hilton sat in the front row, looking solemn and speaking on briefly to her attorney, David Chesnoff.

“I assure you the Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf Astoria,” he told her. The plea agreement does not require Hilton to be assigned a probation officer, meaning she won’t have to report to anyone. I think she’s on the road to success and I wish her personally the best.” Hilton must also complete a substance-abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and complete 200 hours of community service. She will not have to report to a probation officer. She originally faced a felony cocaine possession charge that would not have resulted in jail time. According to Chesnoff, “She does a lot of stuff with animal rights, and I understand she’s done work with children’s hospitals, so I think she’ll continue something along those lines.” “Defendant shall stay out of trouble. Bonaventure said it is not unusual for such felonies to be reduced to misdemeanors for defendants with no criminal record. Hilton was arrested Aug. 26 inside the Wynn resort, after police say a small plastic bag containing 0.8 of a gram of cocaine spilled out of a Chanel purse she had been carrying as she reached for a tube of lip balm in front of a police lieutenant. “Ms. Hilton understands the seriousness of the situation and appreciates the chance she is being given,” the socialite’s lawyer David Chesnoff told The Associated Press over the weekend. “She has to stay out of trouble.”

Get the facts about paris here – Paris Hilton: No Felony, No Jail Time - September 18, 2010 by jamesdean

image

Getting quite the fortunate break, Paris Hilton will bot be heading back to the big house due to her Las Vegas cocaine bust last month. With her high-powered attorney David Chesnoff working his magic, the former “Simple Life” star will avoid a felony charge in lieu of two misdemeanor counts of drug possession and obstructing an officer. Paris Hilton has struck a plea deal over her cocaine bust which will see her avoid spending time behind bars. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the heiress will avoid jail time in her felony cocaine possession case with a plea agreement. Hilton is expected to plead guilty to misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor obstructing an officer on Monday. Find out more details and see photos and a video right here! Instead, The Daily Mail reports, she will serve a year of probation following her arrest for being in possession of cocaine.

The plea deal will land the socialite a year of probation. The socialite, 29, is due before Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure on Monday, at which time she will formally plead guilty to misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor obstructing an officer, says the newspaper, which obtained a copy of Hilton’s plea deal. Be sure to find out more about this case and see pictures and videos below! If the heiress is arrested while on probation she will serve a full year in prison. “Defendant shall stay out of trouble,” the plea deal states. “Defendant agrees that an arrest for any charge, excluding minor traffic violations for which a citation is issued, shall result in the immediate termination of her probation and the execution of the suspended sentences.” The deal also requires her to successfully complete a substance abuse programme, pay a $2,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service. Should Hilton be arrested during her probation, her plea deal stipulates that she serve a full year behind bars. Hilton, who spent three weeks behind bars in 2007 for violating her probation in a drink driving case, was arrested for alleged felony cocaine possession last month. We will not have to litigate whether she was convicted of the charge or whether the charge was a major or minor offense,” Clark County District Attorney David Roger said, referencing the consequences if Hilton steps out of line again.

Defendant agrees that an arrest for any charge, excluding minor traffic violations for which a citation is issued, shall result in the immediate termination of her probation and the execution of the suspended sentences. Paris is pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges: drug possession and misdemeanor obstructing an officer. “Ms. Hilton understands the seriousness of the situation and appreciates the chance she is being given,” the socialite’s lawyer David Chesnoff told The Associated Press . “She has to stay out of trouble.” The plea deal caps off a summer of legal drama for the heiress. Back in the summer of 2007, she was one notoriously let out of jail due to “good behavior”.

Paris Hilton is going to have to make some changes her wild lifestyle and be on her best behavior during her probationary period. Instead, she finished up forty days at home sporting a new accessory, a monitoring bracelet. So speeding and parking tickets are all good! With prison time no longer an issue, Miss Hilton instead received one year of probation, a $2000 fine, drug education classes and 200 hours of community service. There will be no discussion.” Telling that his client is fully aware of the situation, Chesnoff said, “Ms. Hilton understands the seriousness of the situation and appreciates the chance she is being given.

hilton demands attention – Celebrity news: Hilton banned from two Wynn resorts - September 2, 2010 by jamesdean

pic

The moves come after Hilton was arrested last week for investigation of felony cocaine possession. Waits was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Like considering the state of the nation. The 29-year-old socialite claimed that the bag she was carrying – in which police found contained cocaine – was not hers, and belonged to a girlfriend.

Or remembering what pictures you tweeted a month ago. It’s a pretty huge purse , with lots of room for losing things. An officer’s report states that Hilton denied the purse was hers, saying that she borrowed it from a friend. The judge’s decision follows Hilton’s arrest last weekend in Las Vegas on cocaine possession charges. Hilton maintains she didn’t put the drugs in the bag. She also said that she thought the cocaine was gum. According to the police report, she attested to owning a broken Albuterol pill, Zig Zag wrappers commonly used to smoke marijuana, and $1,300 in cash and credit cards, but said “several cosmetic items inside the purse were not hers.” While Hilton also initially said that the purse itself did not belong to her, according to Radar Online , the Chanel clutch she carried the night of her arrest looks identical to the purse in a photograph Hilton posted on her Twitter account in July along with the line, “Love My New Chanel Purse I Got Today :) ” The gravity of her current situation doesn’t seem to have registered with the heiress. Hilton reportedly explained that while some of the rather fetching Chanel purse’s contents were indeed purchased with the intent of assisting her well-being–her asthma medication, for example–neither the purse, nor the illegal powder in fact belonged to her.

She had reportedly borrowed the purse from a girlfriend. Hilton has an Oct. 27 court date. Were I a policeman, I would have bowed as gracefully as I could, asked if I could just hold the bag one last time and bid her goodnight.

The drug charge carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison if convicted. The hotel heiress was arrested on Friday when police claimed they found a local form of cannabis, known as ‘dagga’, in her handbag.  A friend and former Playboy model admitted possession. This beautiful purse with its interlocking C’s and its sheer shimmering Chanelness seems to bear an inconvenient resemblance to the purse that she had with her that fateful night in Vegas. Again, Hilton took to Twitter to defend herself. Radaronline claim it is the bag she was carrying when arrested in Las Vegas last weekend She was then placed under arrest “for possession of a controlled substance cocaine.” She is facing a felony charge that carries one to four years in prison. Who is to say that her friend was not the owner of the very same Chanel masterpiece? As RadarOnline.com reported earlier Thursday, police did not give Paris a blood test and that could ultimately help her defence. Designer bags are like reproductions of paintings.

The creators spread a few of them around, as it would seem entirely cruel if their beauty was confined to just one person. Authorities say Grammy-winning rapper T.I. and his wife have been arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines after sheriff’s deputies stopped their car in West Hollywood and smelled marijuana smoke. Paris Hilton busted by Twitter pic? - September 2, 2010 by jamesdean

photo

You have to spend so much of your time focused on the “being Paris Hilton” part that it leaves very little time for much else. Like considering the state of the nation. Paris Hilton . . . the cocaine in her handbag wasn’t hers, she told police. While investors had sued Hilton for $8.3 million, Moreno’s preliminary valuation for the financial hit was $160,000. Hilton was arrested on Aug. 27 in Las Vegas after police pulled over the car in which she was riding when an officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Hilton’s rep had no immediate comment, but she’s been rather busy. She had reportedly borrowed the purse from a girlfriend. But what you need to understand is that there are two types of drugs.

Were I a policeman, I would have bowed as gracefully as I could, asked if I could just hold the bag one last time and bid her goodnight. Her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence. You see, at 1.48 p.m. on July 15, Hilton availed herself of Twitter to inform her more than 2.5 million followers: “Love My New Chanel Purse I got Today.:)” She conveniently added a Twitpic of this remarkable, lovable, valuable piece. Hilton has an Oct. 27 court date. What seems to have happened in Vegas last week is that Paris was accidentally arrested with some of the poor people’s stuff on her, which is why the words “maximum four-year jail sentence” are suddenly being bandied about.

You remember, the one that she reportedly told the police she had borrowed from a friend. Who is to say that her friend was not the owner of the very same Chanel masterpiece? Unless you want to live in a world where rich white girls go to jail, their deadly assault on the proper order of things must be stopped. The creators spread a few of them around, as it would seem entirely cruel if their beauty was confined to just one person. “Love My New Chanel Purse I got Today. :) ,” she wrote at the time in a TwitPic caption. Radaronline claim it is the bag she was carrying when arrested in Las Vegas last weekend She was then placed under arrest “for possession of a controlled substance cocaine.” She is facing a felony charge that carries one to four years in prison. I know you will be all praying that a simple explanation will be offered for this apparent coincidence. But perhaps you will all be more careful while social networking in future. Every day seems to bring another example of a status update or a tweet bringing pain to those who march in tune with Mark Zuckerberg’s pied piping and share something of their inner selves.

Try and comprehend the facts about hilton here – VIDEO: David Letterman Calls Paris Hilton ‘An Idiot’ - September 2, 2010 by jamesdean

photo

Watch the clip on RadarOnline.com “Does she need any more trouble, does she really?” Letterman joked, referencing Hilton’s stint in jail in 2007. “Not only that, her boyfriend was arrested and charged with DWI driving with an idiot!” he said. The picture shows off a purse that looks similar to the one Hilton was carrying (and denied that it belonged to her) when she was arrested for cocaine possession. Why must misfortune dog the celebutante at every turn? The investors initially wanted $8.3 million. According to an officer’s report, when a little white baggie fell out of the purse Hilton was carrying, she said that “she had not seen the bag but now thought it was gum.” The bag actually contained 0.8 grams of cocaine, according to People magazine , and now the 29-year-old heiress faces an Oct. 27 arraignment. Paris bragged about this months ago. An officer’s report states that Hilton denied the purse was hers, saying that she borrowed it from a friend.

The judge’s decision follows Hilton’s arrest last weekend in Las Vegas on cocaine possession charges. Bet she wishes she hadn’t. Her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence. On Wednesday, she tweeted , “These rumors going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel. Hilton has an Oct. 27 court date. I’m not going to even pay attention to them, because I know the truth.” Hilton’s “it wasn’t me” line sounds strikingly familiar to a few pouty-faced proclamations she’s made before. The drug charge carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison if convicted. Unless you want to live in a world where rich white girls go to jail, their deadly assault on the proper order of things must be stopped. Again, Hilton took to Twitter to defend herself. After Waits was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said they found cocaine in Hilton’s purse. The incident marks the third drug-related run-in with the law the heiress has had this summer.

Now the hotel heiress is reportedly changing her story and saying she may have been set-up.

Paris and the Police Paris Hilton Tracy pointed out the recently released police report may offer clues to the socialite’s defense strategy. Paris Hilton denied that a purse she was carrying that contained drugs was hers but said other items inside, including asthma medication, credit cards and $1,300 in cash, were hers, according to a police report. Paris Hilton’s arrest on Friday in Las Vegas could land the socialite in jail again. The reality star was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after police alleged that they found .8 grams of cocaine in her purse during a search following Friday’s incident, Radar Online reports. At that time a plastic bindle containing a substance believed to be cocaine fell from her purse in plain view of the metro lieutenant.” Hilton told officers “the purse was not hers, and that she had borrowed it from a friend.” As for the cocaine, she “thought it was gum.” Hilton’s hairdresser and friend, Michael Boychuck spent several hours with her that same evening. He told CBS News , “I asked her if she wanted some wine or champagne and she said ‘no, just green tea.’” After her arrest, Boychuck said she sent him a text message. ‘She told me the cocaine they found did not belong to her, she expressed to me that her career is very important and she would never do drugs or anything else for that matter to destroy what she’s worked so hard for.’ Michael added: ‘I have known Paris for 18 years and can honestly say I’ve never seen her use drugs.’ Hilton was arrested in Las Vegas on Friday on cocaine charges and told police she didn’t own the purse in which the drug was found. Police pulled alongside a Cadillac Escalade in which Hilton was a passenger about 11:30 p.m. and smelled “a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle,” according to the arrest report. When the officer looked over, “the female passenger started to put the window of the vehicle up,” the report said. “It could be a setup,” Hilton is reportedly telling friends. Waits is a Las Vegas nightclub mogul and Hilton’s rumored boyfriend. “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggy begin to fall from the purse and into my hand,” Flynn wrote.

“I’m sure her attorney at this point is saying, ‘Why did you talk at all to the police? “I then immediately took the purse and dropped the bindle back on the top,” waiting for another officer to witness the recovery.

The lieutenant asked “Hilton whose cocaine it was, and she said she had not seen it and” thought it was gum, he wrote in the report. She should have picked one or better yet remained silent. Unfortunately, she didn’t do that.

Story gummed up (I have to admit I was expecting more of this) - August 31, 2010 by jamesdean

Las Vegas prosecutors yesterday rejected Paris Hilton’s lame “I thought the cocaine was chewing gum” defense and nailed her with a felony drug-possession charge. The DA complaint carries a maximum four-year prison sentence, but Hilton with a clean Nevada criminal record will likely get probation. Paris Hilton will be charged with felony cocaine possession, TMZ.com reports. Cops claimed that they found cocaine in Hilton’s purse and that she insisted the drugs and the purse weren’t hers, according to new court papers. The friend was not identified. Even though she denied owning the bag, Hilton admitted that several items in it $1,300 in cash, credit cards, an Albuterol tablet and Zig-Zag rolling papers belonged to her. Friday after they smelled marijuana.

“She told me the purse was not hers, that she had borrowed it from a friend,” Vegas Police Lt. Dennis Flynn wrote in his report.

When confronted with the cocaine, Hilton, 29, said she hadn’t seen it before, cops said. The heiress was arrested on cocaine possession charges shortly after. Prissy Paris wants you to know she carries only designer duds, and therefore the purse couldn’t have belonged to her.

Paris is hoping authorities will see sense and let her off the hook.” Hilton’s boyfriend’s car was pulled over last weekend when police noticed the smell of marijuana wafting out the windows. An e-mail to Hilton’s rep was not immediately returned. The driver, whom police identified as Cy Waits, 34, was arrested for driving under the influence after he failed field sobriety tests, the report said. “I then immediately took the purse and dropped the bindle back on the top,” waiting for another officer to witness the recovery. A large crowd began to gather at the side of the vehicle as people realized Hilton was inside, the report said. The police lieutenant who wrote the report, identified as D. Flynn, said he approached the vehicle and told Hilton she needed to get out, as police were going to search it for drugs.

She allegedly told Flynn that the cosmetics in the purse were not hers. Prosecutors may face a serious challenge in their attempt to convict Paris. But if Hilton’s team can raise questions about whether the smell was indeed coming from her boyfriend’s car, the prosecution might be in serious trouble.

Find the truth about hilton here – The news about Paris Hilton’s arrest is a mixed bag - August 31, 2010 by jamesdean

WITH SO much media scrutiny going on in the world, you’d think that the people under that scrutiny would start to behave a little smarter. Politicians routinely stake out positions opposite to those staked out previously – and they’re all on video. We’ve heard this excuse before: Paris Hilton claims the bag where cops found coke over the weekend belonged to a “friend.” The socialite copped to owning the cash, credit cards and a tablet of prescription asthma medication Albuterol that were also found in the purse late Friday on the Vegas Strip. “She told me the purse was not hers, that she had borrowed it from a friend,” Lt. Dennis Flynn was quoted as saying in the report. As TMZ reports, Hilton who’s been involved in two other drug-related incidents this summer has told friends “she’s not worried about it.” A small amount of cocaine was found in a purse she was wearing. The 29-year-old celebrity socialite acknowledged owning $1,300 in cash, several credit cards, a package of rolling papers, and a broken tablet of the prescription asthma medication Albuterol also found in the purse late Friday during her arrest at the Wynn Las Vegas resort. Hilton’s latest boyfriend, Cy Waits , was also arrested after failing a field sobriety test. It was her friend’s purse. For a woman with so many fragrances, this one has a hard time passing the smell test. The 29-year-old celebrity faces a felony drug possession charge that would get her probation if convicted. Hilton told the officer she needed to use the bathroom and was escorted into the hotel.

Paris is hoping authorities will see sense and let her off the hook.” Hilton’s boyfriend’s car was pulled over last weekend when police noticed the smell of marijuana wafting out the windows.

Soon audiences can compare their faces up close. To avoid the growing crowd of onlookers and paparazzi, Paris suggested they move inside, to the Wynn Hotel . As they waited for a female officer to arrive to help with the search, Hilton asked for her purse to get lip balm. “Hilton admitted the Albuterol . . . was hers and is prescribed to her, but the suspected cocaine was not,” Flynn wrote. “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggy begin to fall from the purse and into my hand,” Flynn wrote. Paris, 29, told the officers she thought the cocaine was gum.

Now available in peppermint and sugar-free. The lieutenant asked “Hilton whose cocaine it was, and she said she had not seen it and” thought it was gum, he wrote in the report. She wrote: “I’m so thankful to all my fans for all the love and support you are giving me.” Hearts and flowers aside, she has yet to comment directly.

“Hilton said she needed to put some lip balm on, and I handed her the purse from the table,” Flynn wrote. Hilton told him she borrowed the purse, but the cash, asthma medication, credit cards and Zig-Zag wrappers inside were hers, Flynn said. We’re quite confident the gate to heaven doesn’t cost $100,000. Daily News wire services contributed to this report.
